  • Xerox Black + White Splatter Vinyl
    Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

Limited to 100 copies on Xerox black + white splatter vinyl. We're working with Clampdown Record Pressing in Vancouver to create a short run of black + white splatter vinyl. The black vinyl in this pressing are recycled copies of cub's 1995 split 7 inch with The Potatomen, a split release from Mint and Lookout Records. The records were damaged in storage and instead of throwing them away, we're giving them a fitting second life as part of the new Tough Age record!
Pre-orders will also come with "Wrap Me Around Me" a collection of lyrics and poems by Tough Age guitarist Jarrett Samson!

Includes unlimited streaming of Which Way Am I? via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Here we are, back on track Anyone still looking? All those feelings claimed to back, still need reminding They all know you cannot grow, not even worth repressing Work hard and lose it all, isn't that depressing? Life fades gold to salt with excellent timing Come and see us, we're in your town, anyone still looking?
2.
I didn’t know about next week And if you can’t be like anyone You can’t be like me then You can’t be like anyone I wanna get signed to Flying Nun I didn’t feel like no one And if you can’t be like anyone You can’t be like me then You can’t be like anyone I see you sign a new band every week I see you sign them but it’s never me I’ve never been to New Zealand But if you sign me I’ll go every week I wanna get signed to Flying Nun Consider me

Desire? 03:03
See the patterns in your life try to make them change See the patterns in your self Repeat them just the same See yourself in a magazine that you don't read anyway They're making plans for what you preach unheeded led astray What is it worth when all you have left is an emptiness of desire? When all you built, all you beloved has been left to rot and expire? Why not change the course Realign the cost Why not lead the way? Quit making plans just for yourself Why not lead the way? See yourself in a hotel line where you can't stay anyway Plant the flag upon the hill long settled in decay What is it worth when all you love has been turned to dirt in your eyes? When all you built All you believed has been left for them to surmise?
4.
Consequences 02:18
Where do you go when the consequences start to matter and all your friends are letting you down but all your friends have been let down by you? Paradigm All senses scatter on a street you used to walk by Light pours in, it's dull and easy Living life is dull and easy And I wonder what it will take until I get through to you at least enough to look me in the eye I wonder what it will take until I get through to you
5.
Well you know my life's a joke, so I'm throwing it away All used up incompetence with nothing left to say You feel like you would like it? You should give it a try Don't complain to me when it don't seem to satisfy You've heard their reputation and you heeded their advice All has come together, another piece to sacrifice Struggling at the edges, grasping, try as you might Just for you a small reward, another sleepless night I'll apologize sometimes Just when no one seems to mind When no one wants to hear it and you're bored of your pain You know for sure you've ceased it all, you've won the saddest game Staying on the floor of someone you don't even like Struggling to avoid your changed and aged life Well you know my life's a joke and so I'm throwing it away
6.
See in See out See it all out See it all out What are the colours you see When no one else will notice What are the feelings you feel When you think you’ve outgrown this See in Breathe out See in See out What are the colours you see What are things you notice What are the feelings you feel When you become unfocused See in See out See in See out What are the places you’ll be When your problems are sorted Who are the people you’ll be When you feel you’re not broken There is a lot That we are not going to give up There is a lot That we have got filling our thoughts
7.
Repose 05:18
Do you need the light to read Can’t sleep, better than last night Do you need a space to breathe Passing corners of branches Breathing deep I can’t involve that I’d wait a long time just to I can’t absorb that I’d wait half as long to Meanwhile I’m trying Lying on grass Hands reaching out for the stars I feel the air Filling up the night’s sky Meanwhile I’m trying

Possession 04:46
I know you've been holding what you think is true in the back of your mind for some time Free confidences untied to shame Your mind You're mine Perfumed letters from some broken bough It won't be long anyhow Rough pieces tied to some distant cares They're gone All you are is gone All you are is gone
10.
Sun rising up over the pavement reminding which way to stand Parkades covered in roses, what follows in bitter ends Eternity crossed with daily reminders contract and mend Outstretched and disregarded, what follows when life descends? You want to be amazed You want it to feel like the old days I will sing in order, convince myself not to care The cold grows still colder, brief, blowing in summer air Stopgap for the senses beneath them in callous heat Perpetually defenseless clipped distant of empathy You want to be amazed You want it to seem like the old days
